I was born in the loud, vibrant streets of Spain. where life happens outside and dinner doesn’t start until 10 PM. Growing up in Spain taught me one essential lesson: life is best enjoyed slowly, preferably around a table with good friends.
Five years ago, I packed my life into a 40L backpack and left my career in scientist job to see if the rest of the world had as much passion as my home.
60 countries later, I’m still going.
From hitchhiking through Patagonia to navigating the chaotic markets of Marrakech, I’ve learned that travel isn’t about ticking boxes off a list. It’s about the sobremesa—that magical Spanish concept of sitting and talking long after the meal is over. It’s about connection.
